MassageMassage is our first and foremost service at the Sage Center. Accupressure, Deep Tissue, Swedish Technique and Medical Massage – whatever your needs, there is a way to fill them. Massage is most often the first choice in Alternative Therapies. Working through soft tissue pain and stiffness as a result of stress from tension, repetitive motion, poor posture or injury is the purpose of massage. Our therapists ask a client to fill out a questionnaire and do a short but to the point interview to determine what might best serve as a means toward recovery. Your time on the table is determined by your needs. We offer 30, 60 and 90 minute massage.
The Sage Center provides a safe and pleasant environment for healing and a quiet time for trust between therapist and client employing the gift of healthy touch. Each therapist brings unique talents to the table and we offer hours by appointment 6 days a week. Please call to discuss your request and schedule a time. We look forward to becoming a part of your wellness program. Chair massage Kind of a “mini-massage” that can offer some of the benefits of conventional massage without the time commitment of a longer session. Chair massage allows the client to remain dressed and relax into a chair while specific stress points are addressed along the neck, scalp, back and arms.
Chair massage is an
excellent choice for open to the public events such as fairs, wellness expos and
health days as well as employee appreciation. The Sage Center has been providing
services by the hour around the Pittsburgh area for the past 8 years. Ayurvedic Massage A 90 minute session using specialty oils, steam and a heated relaxation followed by tea to warm the inside. If you have knowledge of your “dosha’s” and are working to balance please let me know, as this information can be useful in the selection of the oil to support your goals. My training has given me the distinction of being the only authentically trained ayurvedic massage therapist in the Pittsburgh area so far to date. I honor this distinction and my teachers. Let me assist you as you travel your path to health.
